Time-Lapse Animation
This type of animation does not take as long as others like; Pixilation and Model-Based, but can be effective. Over the years, Time-Lapse photography has been known for frequency, which captures 30 frames every second to make a moving image. People tend to use time-lapse animation for dusk till dawn videos. Also, Time-Lapsing can be identified as sequences of images, which can be time-consuming. Additionally, when creating one, you'll have to make sure you have enough time to film because if you were only running for 2 minutes when editing it will only turn into a 1-second clip. Lastly, if you did not know there can be many kinds of time-lapse videos, for example, Drawing, food rotten away. Etc.
The first time-lapse animation was created by George Melies, called The Carrefour De L'Opera from 1897.

This video shown above explains more about Tim-Lapsing, which will help you understand more. Also, in this video, it shows you how to make time-lapse videos and the equipment best used.
Cut-Out Animation
Cut-out animation is one of the oldest animations that's made from a sequence of 2D images and put together from pieces of magazines, props, and fabrics. Ect. Over the years, there have been many cut-out animations, which can relate to mass media industries, for example; TV, Film, and Animations and they can be programs like South Park, and Family Guy by Seth Macfarlane.
How do you create a cut-out animation
Creating a cut-out animation can be very time-consuming, and when capturing it, you would slowly move the image you have cut-out then capture the movement with the camera. Then, when it comes to reviewing the image would look like their moving. Here is an animation of a cut-out animation created Keiran Dixon, Gemma Connor, and myself.

Pixilation Animation
Similar to Model-based and Cut-out animation, Pixilation is a type of animation in which uses people and like another animation there are many kinds, for example; Neighbors.
Written in 1952 by Norman McLaren, Neighbors was one of the first pixilated animation. In the animation, two friendly neighbors were attracted to this flower, which grew in between their garden and in the result of this flower, they ended up killing each other over greed and selfishness.
How to create a Pixilation animation
When making this type of animation, be prepared for a time-consuming job as capturing the movement of the people can be time-consuming. An example of this can be when jumping - as you'll take individual images, which will make it look like their jumping.
Model-Based Animation
The model-based or stop-motion animation is the most common, which everybody remembers and this is because of TV shows and films such as; Wallace and Gromit, and Big Hero 6. As a result of this, Model-Based animation's are made from 3-dimensional models
How to create a Stop-Motion Animation
Unlike any other animation, Model-based has a whole animated set, which can indicate more meaning to the narrative. Etc. However, when making this kind of animation, animators would move the model tiny bits at a time and from that movement they would capture it with a camera.
Cell-Based Animation
Used for animations, such as The Simpsons, and The Little Mermaid or even Walts Disney's Mickey Mouse, Cel based animation's are drawn free-hand, which can be very time-consuming and detailed. Also, there can be many kinds of broadcasting industries, which Cel animation can be featured on, for example; TV, and Television. Ect.
How to create a Cell-Based Animation's
The first step is where more than on person will draw the images for the animation. This step consists of person one drawing the outline and then passing it on to the next person, which they will paint and cover the image with plastic, before capturing it with a camera. After, this process the animators would put the images together to make the illusion of a moving sequence.
What is Persistence of Vision?
Persistence of vision is an animation theory, which has many images that give the illusion of a moving image. This type of animation can lead back to the Zoe-trope. Also, this type of animation was used more in the early 1900's because of the lack of modern entertainment, for example; TV. Etc
